Ending

I have purposely left the end of my short film as a very sudden ending as I want it to climax, even though there is no linear narrative. No narrative is a very common feature of experimental film. I think that the ending is very dramatic and makes the audience very intrigued and will leave a lasting image.

Choosing a film poster

When making my film poster, I played around with a lot of different effects using the same image to see which effect would be striking and intriguing enough. These are the three posters I came up with.

In the end I decided on the second poster because I consulted with friends and my target audience, and the majority thought the darker poster was the most effective and the text stood out more.

Script for intro.

Ladies and gentlemen. What you are about to see is not a real life story, or a work of fiction.
It’s merely a showing of crazy bitches with a pill addiction.
Girls who have lost their mind, and those with nothing to find.
Their minds have deceived them, and for your viewing pleasure we show the mental mayhem.
However, don’t feel sympathetic, and definitely don’t mimic.
Some scenes were deleted or have been misplaced, for this we are oh so disgraced.
Now buckle up, it’s going to be a bumpy ride.

This was partly inspired by the introduction to Britney Spears' Circus Tour. This is a video of it:

Health and Safety

As a health & safety precaution, when filming inside for the Dissociative Identity Disorder and Anorexia Nervosa acts, I taped down all wires. When filming outside, I was not using any wires but because I filmed it in an outside location, and because it was a cold night, we took regular breaks in which the actress would put on her coat and drink warm beverages to ensure that she did not become ill from being in the cold with no coat on.
